Disclaimer

Quality of Nondestructive Testing LLC | quality-ndt.com

1. Scope and Educational Purpose

This Disclaimer applies to the educational materials, prerecorded lessons, virtual exercises, assessments, and related content made available by Quality of Nondestructive Testing LLC (the “Company”) through quality-ndt.com and its online learning platform. These materials are provided for professional education and training in nondestructive testing (“NDT”). They are not site-specific inspection procedures, engineering approvals, or instructions authorizing a person to perform regulated work.

2. Online Format and Virtual Exercises

Courses may include prerecorded instructional content, educational examples, virtual exercises, and online assessments. Virtual exercises simulate or illustrate selected concepts and do not, by themselves, constitute supervised hands-on practice, documented field experience, or a practical examination on actual equipment or specimens. Any separate practical training, if offered in the future, must be expressly identified in the relevant course description.

3. Training Certificate and Training Hours

Where the applicable course requirements are satisfied, including successful completion of the required online assessment, the Company issues a Training Certificate indicating the training hours attributed to that course. The certificate documents completion of the Company’s stated training requirements; it is not, by itself, professional NDT certification, an employer authorization, or independent verification of field competence. Training hours reflect the course’s designated instructional hours and should not be represented as verified hours of actual hands-on experience unless separately documented. The Company does not claim accreditation, certification-body status, or endorsement by ASNT or any other organization unless expressly stated and independently verifiable.

4. Assessment and Retakes

Learners may retake online assessments without a fixed numerical limit while their paid course access remains active. Standard course access lasts 30 calendar days, as described in the Terms and Conditions. A passing assessment demonstrates satisfaction of the Company’s course-specific testing requirements only; it does not establish competency for a particular employer, certification scheme, or industrial task.

5. Qualification, Certification, and Employer Responsibilities

Qualification, certification, and authorization requirements vary by employer, applicable written practice, certification scheme, industry, jurisdiction, and method. Learners and their employers are responsible for determining applicable requirements, including any required practical training, experience, vision examinations, examinations, supervision, and certification or authorization decisions. The Company’s training and certificates do not automatically satisfy all requirements of ASNT SNT-TC-1A, ANSI/ASNT CP-189, ISO 9712, or any other standard.

6. Industrial Safety and Use of Training Materials

NDT activities may involve hazards associated with electrical equipment, chemicals, radiation, elevated work, confined spaces, pressure systems, and other industrial conditions. Learners must follow applicable laws, safety rules, employer procedures, equipment manufacturer instructions, and qualified supervision. Educational demonstrations, virtual exercises, sample techniques, and example acceptance criteria must not be substituted for approved procedures, qualified personnel, or engineering judgment in actual inspections.

7. Standards, Technical Accuracy, and Updates

The Company seeks to present educational material accurately, but standards, codes, technology, and accepted practices can change. References to standards are educational and do not imply that a particular course covers every requirement or the latest edition. Users should verify the applicable edition and project-specific requirements before relying on information in a professional setting. The Company may correct or update materials subject to its contractual obligations to enrolled learners.

8. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Enrollment, course completion, successful testing, or receipt of a Training Certificate does not guarantee employment, a particular examination result outside the Company’s platform, employer qualification, professional certification, licensing, regulatory acceptance, or authorization to inspect or approve industrial components.

9. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Materials

Course content, instructional graphics, exercises, and assessments are provided under the limited-use license in the Terms and Conditions. Third-party names and standard designations are used for identification and educational reference only and do not imply sponsorship or endorsement. Any use of third-party copyrighted materials must have an appropriate legal basis; this Disclaimer does not itself create permission to reproduce protected works.

10. External Links

Links to external resources may be provided for convenience. Unless expressly stated, the Company does not control or endorse third-party content and is not responsible for changes to external websites.

11. Relationship to Terms and Conditions; Liability

This Disclaimer supplements the Company’s Terms and Conditions and does not replace the agreed terms governing payment, refunds, 30-day access, account use, or liability. To the extent there is a conflict concerning a contractual matter, the Terms and Conditions govern, subject to applicable law. Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, or excuses the Company from providing the services it expressly promises.
