Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 19, 2026
Quality of Nondestructive Testing LLC
1. Who We Are
Quality of Nondestructive Testing LLC ("Company," "we," "our") operates https://quality-ndt.com/ and provides prerecorded online nondestructive testing (NDT) courses, assessments, and course-completion certificates. Our contact details appear in Section 16. This Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information in connection with our website, purchases, learner accounts, and educational platform.
2. Information We Collect
Account and contact information: name, email address, account identifiers, and other contact details you provide.
Order and transaction information: course purchased, order identifiers, payment status, amounts, billing-related details made available to us, and support or refund correspondence. Payments are handled through Shopify and the payment services enabled at checkout; we do not represent that we collect or store full payment-card numbers.
Learning information: enrolled courses, access periods, progress to the extent recorded by our platform, assessment responses and results, repeated attempts, completion status, and certificate records.
Technical and online activity information: IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, security logs, and cookie or advertising identifiers where collected through configured tools.
Communications: information you provide when contacting us for support, privacy requests, or other inquiries. We do not routinely require passports, national IDs, bank statements, or dates of birth to purchase ordinary courses.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to create and secure learner accounts; process and document course purchases; provide the purchased 30-calendar-day access period; administer assessments and unlimited retakes during that access period; determine successful completion and issue certificates; maintain appropriate certificate records; provide support and evaluate refund requests individually; detect misuse and protect the platform; comply with accounting, tax, legal and recordkeeping requirements; understand site performance; and measure or conduct advertising subject to applicable law and user choices.
4. Learning, Assessments, and Certificates
Course access normally lasts 30 consecutive calendar days as described in our Terms and Conditions. Assessment retakes are unlimited during the active access period. After a learner satisfies the published passing requirements, we issue a Company course-completion certificate, not an independent professional or ASNT certification. We process the information needed to administer testing, verify completion, maintain a certificate record, and address legitimate inquiries about certificates.
5. Shopify and Other Service Providers
We use Shopify in connection with online orders and checkout. Shopify and enabled payment providers may process transaction and device information under their own notices and applicable agreements. Our educational platform is operated by us; this does not mean every hosting, infrastructure, email, or payment component is owned by us. We may use service providers only for functions they actually perform for us, such as hosting, payment processing, technical support, security, or analytics.
6. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We use Google Analytics and Google Ads and may use associated advertising tags or pixels that are actually enabled on the website. Depending on configuration, these tools may collect online identifiers, browser and device data, page interactions, referral and campaign information, and conversion events. Google may process information under its own terms and privacy notices. We use this information to understand traffic, evaluate campaigns, and deliver or measure advertising where permitted.
Where required by applicable law, we will obtain consent before activating nonessential cookies or tracking, provide an appropriate preference mechanism, and honor applicable opt-out rights, including any legally required treatment of recognized opt-out preference signals. Users can also manage browser cookie settings and relevant Google ad preferences; browser blocking may affect functionality.
On our storefront at https://quality-ndt.com/, visitors in the 30 countries of the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the United Kingdom are shown a cookie banner with the options Accept All, Reject Nonessential and Customize. Elsewhere, including the United States, no banner is shown, and optional cookies are on by default and can be switched off through "Cookie Settings". The "Cookie Settings" link in the storefront footer opens the cookie preferences, with the categories Necessary, Personalization, Advertising and Analytics, where you can change or withdraw your choice at any time. In the US states where Shopify applies its opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information, you can opt out on our "Your Privacy Choices" page at https://quality-ndt.com/pages/data-sharing-opt-out, and in those states a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal sent by your browser is honored as an opt-out.
7. Marketing Communications
We may send transactional messages related to orders, course access, testing, certificates, support, and security. Promotional email or other direct marketing will be sent only where permitted by applicable law and subject to any required consent. Promotional emails will provide a practical unsubscribe mechanism. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary service messages.
8. Who May Access or Receive Information
Access is limited by role and operational need. Authorized personnel working in Russia have partial access to certain customer and learner information necessary for assigned business, platform, or support tasks. They are not represented as having unrestricted access to all records. We may also disclose relevant information to Shopify, actual service providers, professional advisers, competent authorities where legally required, or parties to a lawful business transaction. We do not state that we sell personal information.
9. International Access and Transfers
Our business is based in Utah, United States. Because authorized personnel in Russia have limited remote access, certain personal information may be accessed from outside the United States. Other international processing may occur through actual service providers. Privacy laws and protections may differ by location. We will assess and implement any legally required safeguards for cross-border access or transfer, including restrictions that may apply to particular categories of data or recipients. This section does not by itself establish that a particular international transfer is lawful.
10. How Long We Keep Information
We retain account, transaction, support, and technical information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, subject to applicable legal obligations and documented retention practices. Course access expires after 30 calendar days, but expiry does not automatically delete records of purchases, assessments, or certificates.
We intend to retain issued-certificate records without a predetermined end date while the retention remains lawful, necessary, and proportionate for certificate verification, record integrity, dispute resolution, or other legitimate purposes. We will periodically review whether continued retention is justified and honor applicable deletion rights and exceptions. We will not promise perpetual retention regardless of law, technical feasibility, or valid requests.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the information and risks, including role-based access and access review where implemented. No transmission or storage method is guaranteed to be completely secure. If a security incident occurs, we will assess and provide notices when required by applicable law.
12. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or copies of certain personal information; to object to or opt out of specified advertising-related uses; or to appeal a denied privacy request where required. Send requests to ndt.quality.com@gmail.com. We may need to verify the request using proportionate means and may retain information when law permits or requires it. We will respond within applicable statutory time limits. Rights and exemptions vary by jurisdiction; this Policy does not imply every statutory right applies to every user.
13. Children and Age Eligibility
Our courses are intended for adult learners. We do not knowingly target children under 13 or knowingly collect their information without any consent required by law. If we learn that personal information was collected from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take appropriate action.
14. Links and Third Parties
Our website may link to third-party websites or services. Their practices are governed by their own privacy notices. We encourage users to review those notices.
15. Updates to This Policy
We may revise this Policy as our practices, technology, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version with an updated effective date and provide additional notice where legally required. Material changes to uses of information will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
